Judy M. Naczek (nee Laszlo) age 55 of Hubertus, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in her home.
Judy was born on July 31, 1960 in Milwaukee, WI to Joseph J. and Margaret (nee Kiss) Laszlo. She was united in marriage to James Naczek in Hales Corners, WI on May 30, 1980. Judy worked for Menards in Germantown and Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls where she made long lasting friendships. She was a member of St. Mary of the Hill Parish in Hubertus for many years. Judy loved traveling, volunteering, and enjoyed knitting/crocheting. She created thousands of handmade preemie baby outfits for St. Joseph’s NICU in Milwaukee.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, James Naczek; cherished children, Melissa Naczek of Menomonee Falls, Michael (Erika) Naczek of Slinger, and Matthew Naczek of Hubertus; treasured granddaughters, Hailey and Abigail Naczek; dear sister, Catherine (Peter) Strehlow of Milwaukee; dear brother-in-law, William Naczek of Jackson; and her two loyal pals, “Bella” and “Cinnamon.” She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives including family in Hungary, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Margaret Naczek; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Judy’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street Hartford, WI 53027) on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 5:00-7:00p.m.
Additional visitation will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the St. Therese Chapel (lower level of the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians, at Holy Hill, 1525 Carmel Road, Hubertus, WI 53033) with Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Fred Alexander, OCD officiating.
Interment in St. Mary of the Hill Parish Cemetery (formerly St. Augustine), Richfield, Wisconsin.
