Obit: Kathryn “Kay” Rausch (Klumb)

 

June 20, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Kathryn “Kay” Flower Rausch (nee Klumb), age 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Hawthorn Manor in West Bend. She was born on July 24, 1926 in Milwaukee, WI to Paul and Charlene (nee Flower) Klumb. Kay was a devoted wife to her husband, Robert Kalman Rausch both before and after his stroke. Together they loved traveling, spending time with family and overall enjoyed life. Kay spent her life caring for Robert who passed away on April 4, 1990 and raising a beautiful family.

Kathryn is survived by her daughters, Margaret Peterson and Kathleen (Matthew Vega) Tauben; grandchildren, Michael Peterson, Mark (Dorothy) Peterson, John (Melissa) Tauben, Jodi (Terry) Steigerwald, Courtney Rausch, Graham Rausch; 7 great-grandchildren; and her brother David (Shirley) Klumb. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rausch, son John Rausch, her parents, her brother Paul (Mudi) Klumb and her niece Karen Klumb.

A Funeral Service will be at 11:30AM on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 10:00AM until the time of the service (11:30AM). A private entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
