“When I was called back to serve in the community I live in, I didn’t have to think twice. I am honored to walk alongside a team of dynamic leaders, dedicated team members, and invested community stakeholders. In partnership, I am eager to help weave the fabric of servant leadership, as it truly takes a village. I look forward to pausing and taking the time to listen to residents’ stories and learn from their experiences. As individuals focus on writing their next chapter, I am humbled to help others recognize the needs of today, tomorrow, and the future of our friends and neighbors not only at Cedar Community but our community as a whole,” said Zaskowski.

As philanthropy director at Cedar Community, Zaskowski will work with the vice president of development to strategize and execute a comprehensive and diversified philanthropy plan that promotes mission achievement and financial sustainability of Cedar Community. “Jenny is a well-respected and accomplished professional—we are fortunate to welcome her as director of philanthropy. Her commitment to community, her love of aging services, and her professional acumen in the fundraising arena will make her a strong champion for Cedar Community,” said Sarah Malchow, vice president of development.
