Project would reconstruct 2.3 miles of WIS 67 in 2020
(Campbellsport) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region in Green Bay is announcing a public involvement meeting to discuss the proposed reconstruction of 2.3 miles of WIS 67 in the village of Campbellsport from North Baumann Street to Triple S Road. The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Campbellsport High School, 114 W. Sheboygan St, Campbellsport.
A brief presentation will take place at 5:40 p.m., followed by an open house where the project team can answer questions on an individual basis.
The proposed project would reconstruct WIS 67 from North Baumann Street to the Milwaukee River Bridge as a two-lane urban roadway with new pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and intersection improvements. From the Milwaukee River Bridge to Triple S Road, WIS 67 would be constructed as a two-lane rural roadway with new pavement, storm sewer, grading operations and intersection improvements.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Maps and displays showing the improvement alternatives will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
