Slinger, WI – Dr. Walid Sabha, graduated from Slinger High School and recently earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sabha played football at Slinger. During his sophomore year, he suffered a serious ankle injury that required surgery, including plates and pins.
That experience changed the course of his life. While going through physical therapy, he discovered his passion for helping others recover and decided to pursue it as a career.

During his clinical rotations in PT school, Sabha worked in a neuro clinic with stroke and Parkinson’s patients and found his true calling. Helping these individuals regain their independence and quality of life became his mission.
His dedication and compassion have been nothing short of inspiring.
“I’m incredibly proud of the man he has become,” said mom GiGi Dee. “What once seemed like a devastating setback—an injury that took him off the football field—turned out to be a steppingstone toward something extraordinary.
“I hope Walid’s journey can inspire other young people. Sometimes the end of one dream can open the door to a greater purpose.”
