Slinger, WI – The VFW post in Slinger, WI. will hold its annual Memorial Day Parade on May 30 with a big announcement for the public.

The day is for honoring our fallen soldiers and one of the main purposes of the VFW is to maintain the story of the sacrifices our American soldiers have given to protect our freedoms.

The post will host the exhibit from the War Memorial Center Education Program called “I Am Not Invisible.”

Uncle Larry's Storage

The exhibit is a nationwide Department of Veterans Affairs initiative to showcase the female military service experience. The exhibit features photos and bios of 32 female Wisconsin veterans and current military members from every branch and service era since WWll.

The Zunker-Held VFW Post #3358 is honored to have Tiffany Koehler as the guest speaker at the exhibit on Memorial Day. Her program will start at 1 p.m. at the Zunker-Held post in Slinger, WI.
