Within the next hour Delta Defense will be presented the city of West Bend’s 2015 Business of the Year award. Delta Defense has been a strong employer in West Bend and plans to develop a new 64,500-square-foot headquarters this year in the West Bend Corporate Center.
Delta will be relocating to the building from its 20,000-square-foot building at 300 S. Sixth Ave.
Delta has 57 full-time employees and plans to add 133 employees by 2020.
Last year’s award winner was West Bend Mutual Insurance.
The selection committee for the award includes Craig Farrell, Mike Nowack, Mary Kerr, Ted Neitzke, Pete Rettler, and Mike Miller.
The crystal award was created by Husar’s House of Fine Diamonds.
