Village of Kewaskum has two open Trustee seats for April 2022 election | By Tammy Butz

Village of Kewaskum, WI – The Village of Kewaskum currently has two open Trustee seats for the April 5, 2022, Spring Election.

Trustee Richard Laubach announced he will not be seeking re-election in 2022. Earlier this year, President Kevin Scheunemann submitted his resignation, resulting in an open one-year term. On November 15, 2021, the Village of Kewaskum board voted 5 – 1 to approve trustee Dave Spenner as the new Village President
In addition, Trustees Richard Knoebel and Nathan Wendelborn are up for re-election in April 2022.
Village residents interested in running for a Village of Kewaskum Trustee position can obtain nomination papers from the Village Clerk or on the Wisconsin Election Commission website. Nomination papers must be turned in to the Village Clerk on or before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
Candidate terms will be based on election results. The top three candidates will serve a two-year term from April 19, 2022 – April 16, 2024. The fourth-place candidate will serve a one-year term from April 19, 2022 – April 18, 2023.
