West Bend, WI – Mornings are quite beautiful at Schmidt Century Farm, 5485 St. Anthony Road, in West Bend, WI. The fall days leave the weather crisp. As the sun rises the beautiful landscape comes into view as I head out for chores at 6 a.m.
The cool temperature never bothers Harley, our Corgi; he will always follow you no matter where you go.
Regardless of the weather, the animals are hungry like everyone else when the sun comes up.

Feeding the animals is priority number one, along with fresh water and clean bedding for the pigs. The horses have automatic water which is very low maintenance.
Chores take about an hour to finish in the horse barn.
