The WAA mission is to Remember, Honor, and Teach by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington, as well as at veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states, at sea, and overseas.

Remember our veterans who are devoted sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers in the line to protect our freedoms. Honor our veterans by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies each December on National Wreaths Across America Day. Teach younger generations about the value of their freedom and the importance of honoring those who sacrificed so much to protect those freedoms.

Post 483 is encouraging volunteers to join the Allenton Legion Post on National Wreaths Across America Day, December 16 at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers can participate in our wreath-laying ceremonies at Sacred Heart (Allenton), St. Mathias (Nabob), SS Peter & Paul (Nenno), St. Anthony, St. Lawrence, St. John (Beaver Dam Rd / WW), Zion (Hwy D), St. Peter (Beaver Dam Road), St. Peter Catholic Church (old & new in Slinger), Union, Diefenbach Corners, Faith (Slinger Road), along with stand-alone placements at St. John (behind Slinger High School) Faith Cemetery (Fond du Lac Dr) and St. Paul’s (WI-175 in Slinger).
