Simon said the funding from the United Way of Washington County allows the organization to talk with the kids in the schools and help them develop skills to become successful adults. “The funding also allows us to work with people who actually have a substance use disorder and help them find recovery; it allows us to provide those services at no cost to them.”
“I just want to say thank you to the United Way of Washington County and ask donors to please consider supporting the United Way’s annual campaign,” said Simon.
Elevate leads the way to healthy communities. Elevate guides and empowers individuals, families and communities to effectively address substance use and mental health challenges. Â
