West Bend Police looking for suspect following armed robbery at KFC

ARMED ROBBERY – 1530 West Washington Street – On Thursday, February 9, 2017, at 10:21 PM, an employee of Kentucky Fried Chicken was closing the business when a man approached the employee, displayed a handgun, and demanded money.
The suspect fled eastbound with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7” tall, thin build, wearing a dark coat, and a scarf covering the lower portion of his face.

OWI – 4th  – 100 Block of East Paradise Drive
On Thursday February 9, 2017, at 9:40 PM, a citizen reported that a vehicle had struck the overhead
door to the underground parking garage at an area apartment complex. The vehicle was located inside
the garage and the driver in his residence. Investigating officers observed signs the driver was
intoxicated. The investigation determined that the driver struck had struck the overhead door, then
manually attempted to lift the door knocking the door from the track, and then drove under the partially
open door causing damage to the vehicle and garage door. The 52-year-old West Bend man failed the
standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .153% in a PBT, and was arrested for OWI – 4th Offense.
OWI – DRUGS 1900 Block of South Main Street
On Thursday, February 9, 2017, at 8:12 PM, a citizen reported a vehicle driving the wrong way on USH
45. Responding West Bend officers located and stopped the vehicle in the Walgreens parking lot, 1921
S. Main St., and observed signs the driver was under the influence of drugs. The 27 year old
Mukwonago woman failed the Standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for OWI- Restricted
Controlled Substances.
