March 15, 2023 – West Bend, WI – There was a noticeable police presence around 5 p.m. Tuesday evening, March 14, 2023, on Tumbleweed Avenue, in the Prairie Meadow subdivision east of River Road in West Bend, WI.
Police Lt. Brian McAndrews said dispatch received multiple 9-11 calls from a man, 38, who asked for assistance. Police responded and helped the man “who was in a state of crisis.”

Police transported the man to the hospital. McAndrews said he was later released to family who will “keep an eye on him.”
McAndrews said there were no charges, and a rescue squad was on scene because the man complained of chest pains.
Neighbors thanked police for watching over the community.
