West Bend West is at it again.
One season after an 18-game winning streak — one shy of the school record — the Spartans’ baseball team has won 14 consecutive games after defeating Grafton, 5-0, on Monday night.
“Considering a few of our past winning streaks in West history, when you look at it, it’s not that impressive,” the Spartans’ Nathan Burns said. “But definitely pitching and defense is the main key. Last week we had three games and didn’t give up a run. That’s definitely the main focus for our team.”
