May 5, 2017 – Washington Co., WI – Motorists across Washington County are trying to wrap their heads around the discrepancy in gas prices as a gallon of regular unleaded in Germantown and Jackson is $2.29 while prices in West Bend hover around $2.42 a gallon.

  1. I’ve lived in Germantown for almost 20 years now, and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten gas in West Bend. It’s always been more expensive.

  2. Was the article titled: A crazy discrepancy in gas prices in Washington County; from May, 2017, ever followed up on?
Do we know why Washington County gas is anywhere from 5 cents to 30 cents more expensive?
I previously lived in Dodge county for 9 years and now Washington county for the past 7. This has been consistent for that 16 year time-span. Yesterday Germantown was charging 2.69 for regular unleaded vs. 2.94 in West Bend.
Is there only one fuel distributor in the county vs. multiple in others? Is there some obscure county tax?

    • Agree 100%! Would love to have this article followed up on! Gas in Menominee Falls today is $2.59 versus West bBend of $2.84.

  3. I would love to see follow up on this article as well. Recently, 2.05 in Men. Falls & 2.35 in West Bend. This is ludicrous.
