–Polls open at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9 for the Partisan Primary. Polls remain open until 8 p.m.
– Monday, Aug. 8 the Kewaskum School Board will vote whether to issue an initial resolution authorizing general obligation bonds for a Nov. 8 referendum at $28 million. I did not receive a call back to the question whether this includes taxes and interest. I’ll keep you posted.
– Deer Fest is at Washington County Fair Grounds on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. – 7p.m. and Sunday, Aug, 7 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
– There is a blood drive in Kewaskum on Aug. 9 from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Kewaskum Middle School, 1676 Reigle Drive.
-Pioneer Kids Day is Thursday, Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. – noon at the History Center Washington County. The theme this year is ‘Down on the Farm.’ Kids bring your parents and show them the fun side of chores like milking cows, grinding corn and putting wash through the ringer.
