Oct. 26, 2016 – Mayville, WI – Daniel E. Moll, 88 of Mayville died Sunday evening, October 23, 2016 at Clearview Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 10, 1928, son of the late Elmer and Florence Moll. He was confirmed in the Christian faith. On June 25, 1955, he was united in marriage to the former Jeannette Dogs who preceded him in death on April 8, 2009.
Danny ran the Moll family farm where he raised his family of three. Not only did he farm, but he also drove school bus for 18 years. He was very well known for this and for his many years of service on the Herman Consolidated School Board.
Survivors include his three children, sons: David Daniel (Sandy), Mayville, Jan Brian (Lori), Green Bay, daughter: Valerie Joy (Greg) Vorpahl, Hartford, twelve grandchildren: Chad, Clint, Cliff and Eric Moll. Richard Aumann. Jennifer Bertz. Michael and Josh Moll. Nicholas, Dustin, Katrina Luther. Megan Vorpahl. Twelve great-grandchildren: Haven, Noah, Ethan, CJ, Evelyn, Dillon, Emily, Skyler, Lacy, Damian, Parker and Landon. With death also comes the celebration of life, his family is also expecting three more great-grandchildren to be born next year.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer and Florence Moll, his sister: Winifred Moll, father-in law and mother-in-law: Peter and Evelyn Dogs, brother-in-law: Norman Dogs.
There will be no funeral services, however a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Danny’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Clearview Nursing Home for all the care and compassion shown to Danny and his entire family.
