Winter weather advisory in effect in Washington County and neighboring communities


April 18, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect in Washington County and neighboring Ozaukee, Fond du Lac, Dodge, and Sheboygan Counties until 1 a.m. Thursday, April 19.

According to snow expected this afternoon and evening. Total accumulations of 3 to 5 inches in Dodge, Washington, Jefferson and Waukesha Counties. 1 to 4 inches in Marquette, Green Lake, Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth Counties.

The afternoon commute is expected to be rather dicey with slippery road conditions, including during the evening commute. Expect reduced visibility at times.


A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
