May 10, 2025 – Ozaukee Co., WI – Update – Dangerous Weapons Discharge Incident in Village of Fredonia.

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, at approximately 12:30 pm, a combined law enforcement effort concluded peacefully in the Fox Glen neighborhood after nearly 38 hours of an intensive tactical response. The incident began on Thursday, May 8, when multiple gunshots were heard coming from a residence. The suspect barricaded himself inside the residence, armed with multiple firearms, and made repeated threats kill to law enforcement officers.

The Ozaukee County Special Response Team (SRT), with support from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, and 2 members of the Franklin Police Department’s SWAT Team engaged the suspect for an extended period of time. Despite repeated commands to surrender, the suspect remained non-compliant and continued to display hostile behavior. Tactical measures were deployed to de-escalate the situation; however, the suspect remained armed and refused to exit the residence peacefully.

On Saturday, May 10, at approximately 10:50 a.m. the suspect ultimately surrendered peacefully after being affected by non-lethal tactical resources that impaired his ability to resist.
