
Upon arrival of first deputies on scene, the driver and sole occupant of the gray SUV was found to be unresponsive. Deputies and first responders attempted life saving measures on the driver but were unsuccessful. The driver of the blue SUV was conscious and alert.
The initial investigation and witness statements showed that the blue SUV was westbound on CTY TK H approaching the intersection of Forest View Road.
The gray SUV was eastbound on CTY TK H and attempted to turn northbound on Forest View Road in front of the blue SUV, and was hit on the passenger side.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team responded to complete additional scene documentation. CTY TK H and Forest View Road were closed for approximately three and a half hours for the emergency response, documentation and cleanup efforts. The incident is still under investigation at this time.

April 8, 2026 – Kewaskum, Wi – Washington County Sheriff’s are investigating a bad crash that occurred around 4:22 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon on County Highway H and Forest View.

According to authorities, one motorist may have pulled out in front of another vehicle onto Highway H.
One person was killed. Flight for Life was called to the scene and then called off.
There was no information released on either driver as the crash remains under investigation.
Neighbors say, CTH H and Salisbury Road are now primary arterial routes as Highway 144 is closed from CTH H south into West Bend.
