June 8, 2026 – Sheboygan Co., Wi – On Sunday, June 7, 2026, at approximately 9.53 p.m., the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call advising of a semi-versus-vehicle crash on State Highway 23 at Scenic View Drive in the town of Greenbush.

Preliminary investigation indicated the operator of a Toyota Corolla was southbound on Scenic View Drive and failed to stop for a stop sign located at the intersection of State Highway 23, Scenic View Drive. The Toyota entered the path of an eastbound semi and was struck, causing the semi to overturn.
The operator of the Toyota was pronounced dead on scene and three occupants in the semi were transported to local hospitals for various non-life-threatening injuries.
Other public safety resources that assisted were Sheboygan County Sheriffs, Plymouth Police, Sheboygan County Highway Department, Orange Cross Ambulance, Keele Ambulance, Greenbush Fire Department, Plymouth Fire Department, Glenbeulah First Responders, and Elkhart Lake First Responders.
