$250,000 damaged caused by fire at Hartford Airport

February 6, 2021 – Hartford, WI – Hartford Fire and Rescue Department was dispatched shortly after 12:30am Saturday, February 6, 2021 for a fire at a hangar at the Hartford Airport.

Upon arrival the unoccupied building was fully involved in fire.  Fire crews battled the fire and extreme cold conditions until about 4:30am.  Damages are estimated to be $250,000 as the building and all of its contents were a total loss.  There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

 

Hartford Fire and Rescue Department was assisted by the Hartford Police Department, Hartford Electric and DPW, Lifestar EMS, Slinger, St. Lawrence, Allenton, Neosho, Iron Ridge, Ashippun, Richfield, and Germantown Fire Departments.  WE Energies and the Hartford Community Response Team (CERT) also assisted the firefighters.
