March 12, 2021 – Washington Co., WI – The Washington County Youth Hockey Association (WCYHA) Bantam B ICE team defeated Oregon and New Richmond on March 6 in the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association (WAHA) state tournament in De Pere, WI. They fought Elmbrook for the championship on March 7 and earned the second place title.
“This was a great group of young adults. They had their ups and downs throughout the year but they came together as a team when it mattered most. Their hard work all season and determination achieved their goal of playing in the championship game. They really played for each other and gave everything they had – leaving it all on the ice. I could not be prouder of this team,” said Head Coach Greg Petermann.
