Obit: Bruce “Rooster” Kopischke, 68, Fond du Lac

Bruce “Rooster” Kopischke, 68, of Fond du Lac, drove down his last road on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Agnesian Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac.

He was born on November 10, 1947 to Violet Tudor and adopted by Edwin Kopischke in Fond du Lac. He attended High School in Lomira. He owned and operated the farm and drove truck and ended his career driving truck. Bruce liked gardening and snowmobiling and was the former president of the snow demons snowmobile club. He enjoyed Friday night fish fry’s in Eden. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Those Bruce leave behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Paula; five children, Melissa Kopischke, Steven (Michelle) Kopischke, Brian Kopischke, Adam (Jessica) Kopischke, and Bruce R. Kopischke; four grandchildren, Amber Kopischke, Sammy Kopischke, Tiffany Kopischke; and Christian Thern; one great-grandchild, Iziah Kopischke; other relatives and friends

A gathering to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 1 p.m. ending at 4:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 350 Main St., Lomira.

A special thank you from the family to the nurses and staff at Agnesian Hospice Home of Hope for all their help and care.
