Man seriously injured in snowmobile crash in Dodge County | By Dodge Co. Sheriff

February 28, 2022 – Dodge Co., WI – The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is investigating a serious snowmobile crash with injuries, which occurred on Sinissippi Lake in the Village of Hustisford.

Around 12:15 AM on Monday, February 28, 2022, the Dodge County Sheriff’s office received a report of a snowmobile crash in which the snowmobile appeared to be traveling south on Sinissippi Lake when it struck an embankment ejecting the rider into the back yard of a nearby residence.

The single male occupant 42 years old from Kenilworth, Illinois received serious injuries as a result of the crash and was flown by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

The crash is believed to have occurred sometime shortly before 12:15 AM.

Assisting at the crash scene was the Hustisford Fire Department, Hustisford EMS, Mayville EMS, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Flight for Life.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Officeand Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
