2 pursuits on I41 result in multiple arrests | By Germantown Police

April 28, 2026 – Germantown, WI  — During the early morning hours of April 25, 2026, the Germantown Police Department was involved in two separate incidents on Interstate 41 that resulted in multiple arrests.

Case #26-6489:
At approximately 1:17 a.m., a Germantown Police Sergeant attempted to stop a vehicle for an equipment violation on I-41. The vehicle fled, initiating a pursuit that reached speeds exceeding 100 mph and extended nearly 30 miles through Washington County.
During the pursuit, the vehicle exited the highway multiple times, disregarded traffic control devices, and re-entered I-41 in an apparent attempt to evade law enforcement.
Officers successfully deployed spike strips, disabling the vehicle. Two occupants then fled on foot into a wooded area. With assistance from a K9 unit and a drone operator, both individuals were located and taken into custody.
Two 21-year-old men—one from Milwaukee and one from Green Bay—have been referred for charges including:
• Fleeing and eluding an officer
• Second-degree recklessly endangering safety
• Obstructing an officer

Case #26-6488:
At approximately 12:05 a.m., an officer observed two motorcycles traveling at high speeds on I-41. When the officer attempted a traffic stop, both motorcycles fled. The pursuit was terminated shortly thereafter due to safety concerns.
One of the motorcycles was later located exiting I-41 in Menomonee Falls. A traffic stop was conducted, and the operator, a 23-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken into custody.
He has been referred for charges including fleeing and eluding law enforcement and Operating While Intoxicated (first offense).
These cases have been referred to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. Please see the attached criminal complaints for further information.
As always, a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent until, and unless, proven guilty.
