2 pedestrians injured after being struck by vehicle in Slinger | By Capt. Gullickson

October 6, 2025Slinger, Wi – On Monday, October 6, 2025, at 5:09 p.m. Slinger Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the area of the Slinger high school football field on Polk Street in the Village of Slinger.

Officers arrived on scene and located two adult pedestrians lying on the roadside, conscious and communicative. The vehicle involved remained on scene along with the operator who was cooperative with law-enforcement.

Initial investigation showed the vehicle involved was eastbound on Polk Street and left the roadway, striking the two pedestrians in the area of the main gate leading into the football field.

The two pedestrians were transported to local hospitals as a precautionary measure for injuries.

The Slinger Police Department was assisted by Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies, Lifestar Ambulance, Slinger Fire Department, and Hartford Fire and Rescue.

At this time the crash remains under investigation.
