Dec. 18, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – The Washington County Parks Department has begun selling 2019 park and boat launch stickers with a discount extended to seniors and veterans. Fees collected directly support park and trail maintenance, boat launch preservation, and amenities throughout the Washington County Park and Trail System. The 2019 annual park stickers are available for purchase online and make a great gift or stocking stuffer.
“On behalf of the County Board, I am excited to announce we will be offering park stickers to veterans at a discounted rate beginning in 2019,” said County Board Chairman Donald Kriefall. “We are deeply grateful to the men and women of our armed forces and this discount is a very small token of our gratitude for their service.”
2019 Annual Sticker Rates:
Annual Resident $30 Annual Boat Launch $80
Annual Non-Resident $40 Annual Senior* Boat Launch $40
Annual Senior* $20 Annual Veteran^ Boat Launch (NEW) $40
Annual Veteran^ (NEW) $20 Annual Disabled Boat Launch $40
Additional Vehicle Pass $20 Daily Boat Launch $8
Daily Park Pass $5 Boat launch passes include park entrance fee.
*Seniors are age 60 or older.
^Veteran rates are offered to residents and non-residents.

People shouldn’t have to pay to use county parks. Isn’t that what taxes are for? Maybe the county should cut back on other foolish expenditures.
I agree, Robert. Next thing you know, there will be a fee for city parks as well. And parking meters at any available public parking spot. And then an annual fee to renew your library card.
These fees are more then a yearly state park sticker.Just use your money and get a state park sticker,it’s more useful and has access to better beaches and picnic ares.There are several in the area including Mauthe lake outside of Kewaskum and Pike lake near Hartford.I think the best way to show that this fee was a mistake is to simply NOT buy one.Also remember who was in favor of this at election time!
