3 men arrested following robbery in Fond du Lac | By Fond du Lac Police

October 17, 2023 – Fond du Lac, WI –  On, Sunday, October 15, 2023 at approximately 7:45 p.m., the City of Fond du Lac Police Department responded to Walmart (377 N. Rolling Meadows Drive) for a report of a robbery that occurred about 20 minutes earlier.

FDLPD learned that three suspects entered the store and made their way to the electronics section.

One suspect requested to see an iPad and when the Walmart associate opened the locked door another suspect in the group grabbed the associate and held them down while the two others grabbed nearly $3,600 worth of Apple watches.

FDLPD Officers began to review video and Walmart sent out an alert to other Walmart locations in the state. FDLPD learned that the suspects were observed at the Watertown (WI) Walmart but fled. Later FDLPD received a call that the Whitewater Police Department intercepted the vehicle in the parking lot of the Walmart in their city.

FDLPD Officers responded to the Whitewater Walmart location and took custody of all three suspects. FDLPD recovered all of the stolen Apple watches. The male suspects ages 24, 24, and 22 were all from Michigan.

All three suspects have extensive criminal histories and all three are convicted felons. They have criminal histories out of Michigan, Indiana, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. All three suspects were arrested and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of Robbery, Felony Retail Theft, Disorderly Conduct, and Battery.

The investigation into this incident remains under active investigation. No further details or information are being released at this time.
