January 5, 2026 – West Bend, Wi – UPDATE- The 4-year-old child remains hospitalized in stable condition.
The 28-year-old Hartford woman driving the vehicle has been placed in the Washington County Jail with a request for charges including Causing Injury While Operating with a Restricted Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Prescription Medication Without a Prescription.

On January 5, 2026 at approximately 11:10 a.m., West Bend Police responded to a report of a 4-year-old child struck by a vehicle in the Froedtert West Bend Clinic parking lot, 1700 W. Paradise Drive.
The child was transported to the hospital.
The driver, a 28-year-old Hartford, Wi, woman remained on scene. The incident remains under investigation.
