September 11, 2025 On Thursday, September 11, 2025, at approximately 4:21 a.m. the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a 911 call from the homeowner at W2420 Century Drive in the Township of Auburn.
The caller reported the residence was on fire and that fire was coming out of the windows. The homeowner confirmed all occupants had safely evacuated the residence.
Deputies and local fire departments were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, deputies reported the residence was fully engulfed. Fire Departments arrived and extinguished the fire.
The residence was a total loss. The homeowner was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries related to the fire.
One cat is safe, another is unaccounted for. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the following agencies. The Wisconsin State Patrol, Campbellsport Fire Department, Eden Fire Department, Mount Calvary Fire Department, Beechwood Fire Department, Kewaskum Fire Department, Lomira Fire Department, Cascade Fire Department, Kohlsville Fire Department, Brownsville Fire Department, and WE Energies.
