June 17, 2023 – West Bend, Wi – West Bend West sophomore Kylee Altendorf has been named to the 2023 Academic All-American Team.

Altendorf is an outstanding volleyball player who also excels in the classroom. In her 2021, West volleyball season she earned second-team all-conference in the North Shore Conference, and in 2022 she earned first-team all-conference.
Altendorf currently has a 4.0 GPA and is ranked first in her graduating class.
The National High School Coaches Association received a record number of applicants, and the selection process was extremely competitive.
The NHSCA is proud to honor the very best student-athletes in the country, representing 22 sports.
The National High School Coaches Association honors the nation’s finest student-athletes as High School Academic All-Americans.
For your student-athlete(s) qualify, nominees must:
- Carry at least a 3.6-grade point average on a 4.0 scale
- The award covers 22 sports Countrywide and both males and females are considered
