Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on January 24, 1967, Amy grew up in Wind Point, Wisconsin. She attended Winona State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.

Throughout her life, Amy dedicated herself to caring for and supporting others. She worked as a nanny, managed a group home for individuals living with mental illness, worked in retail, and assisted students as a teacher’s aide at West Bend High Schools’ diner, The Nifty Nibble.

Above all, Amy found her truest vocation and greatest joy in raising her three sons.
Amy was an active member of Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Deeply committed to her faith community, she taught Sunday School, served on the Prayer & Worship Committee, and felt truly blest for the time she spent serving the Journey Program.

Amy’s creativity and warmth were evident in everything she touched. An exceptional cook who loved taking new recipes and making them distinctly her own, she was celebrated for her handmade toffee, hard candies, desserts, and decorated cakes. During the summer months, she took pride in tending her garden and growing hot peppers. Her creative spirit also shone through her scrapbooking and crafts, lovingly preserving memories for family and friends.
