An ode to the first day of summer | By Arline Ensenbach

June 21, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – This is my favorite poem and it is about my favorite day of the year, the day on which the northern hemisphere has the most daylight.
Timmer's Resort, Pebbly Beach
The poem was written by my mother, Arline Ensenbach, during the year in which she turned 100 years of age.
Her memories, her wonderful recollections of all those year gone by, and the promises of the tomorrows to come were all contained in this beautiful poem.  I
hope that you will enjoy it as much as I have over the years.  She passed away on May 30, 2012 at the age of 104.
