Town of Trenton, Wi – There’s a familiar face behind the bar at West Bend Lakes Golf Club. Angela Gonzales leads the team providing food, drink and great customer service.
“I’ve been in the food and beverage industry for 40 years,” said Gonzales. “I love the people and I love the challenge.”
Gonzales is working with a tight team to bring new life to the bar/restaurant at West Bend Lakes Golf Club, 1241 Hwy 33, in West Bend, WI.

With a full kitchen at the ready Gonzales has crafted a fresh menu that includes homemade pizza, hot Reuben, Philly cheese steak, or pulled-pork sandwiches and a new breakfast sandwich to help start your day.
West Bend Lakes Golf Club also serves a Friday fish fry.
Gonzales credits her organizational skills for helping set the tempo at West Bend Lakes Golf Club. “We all do really work well as a team,” she said. “The people here, are always willing to help and it’s good to know someone always has your back.
“The crew helps tremendously; it’s not just all about me.” The complete bar/restaurant staff includes Nikki Gonzales, Lynda Myrick, Andrea O’Bryon and Nick Wolf.
Aside from the bar and the kitchen, Gonzales also oversees outings and catering.
“When people walk in, I want them to feel welcome,” she said. “I want them to go golfing, come in, have a beverage, and feel at home.”
Gonzales raves about the new design of the pavilion and the attached gazebo. “There’s 12 tables indoors, seating at the bar and more seating outside,” she said. “Everything is on one level and people can relax and be protected from the elements, if it is raining or too hot.”
“She’s done a really good job adapting what her experience is to the golf course,” said West Bend Lakes Golf Club owner Lee Merkel. “She’s not a golfer. So, she had to learn some of the golf terms and stuff like that, but she fits in very well to our family.”
