HUHS student Aryan Kalluvila recognized as Regeneration Science Talent Search Scholar | By Kayla Davis

January 10, 2023 – Hartford, Wi – Hartford Union High School student Aryan Kalluvila was among 300 top students across the country recognized as a Regeneration Science Talent Search Scholar.

The 17-year-old was selected for his project titled: An Accurate Super-Resolution Approach to 64 mT Low-Field MRI via Domain Adaptation and Nested U-Net Architecture.

The Regeneron Science Talent Search 2023, is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors.

Throughout its history, the competition’s alumni have been honored with 13 Nobel Prizes, 11 National Medals of Science, six Breakthrough Prizes, 22 MacArthur Foundation Fellowships and two Fields Medals.

Kalluvila will be awarded $2,000 and Hartford Union High School will be awarded $2,000 for the enrolled scholar.

The Regeneron Science Talent Search scholars were selected from 1,949 applications from 627 high schools across 48 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and four other countries.
Scholars were chosen based on their outstanding research, leadership skills, community involvement, commitment to academics, creativity in asking scientific questions and exceptional promise as STEM leaders demonstrated through the submission of their original, independent research projects, essays and recommendations.
The 300 scholars hail from 194 American and international high schools in 35 states and China.
