Oct. 9, 2017 – Allenton, WI – Olivia Kreft is the Allenton Fire Queen and she is conducting a community service project called Beauties and Batteries.
“We are collecting new 9 volt batteries for the Allenton community to put in smoke alarms to keep people safe from fire this holiday season,” said Kreft. “My goal is to help 500 families in our community.”
Battery donations are being accepted at the Allenton Fire Department Pancake Breakfast on Oct. 15 from 8 p.m. – 1 p.m. And donations may also be dropped off at the Slinger Community Library and the BP gas station on Highway 33 in Allenton.
