Jackson, WI – The treasured little cheese shop on CTH P in Jackson, WI, has made it official as a “Last day” for business has been announced.

It was this past April when owner Annette DuBois and her husband Wayne first announced they were going to close their little cheese shop after 40 years in business.

The news was quite a shock to the community. Now comes word of their final day in business, June 27, 2025.
Dear customers,
It is with a heavy heart that I have made the decision to retire. I have been behind this counter for over 40 years and at 68 years old it has become too much for me to physically handle any longer.
As I have no next generation to take over, I will take a few months to see if someone is interested and if not I will simply close the doors at that point.
I appreciate everyone’s patronage and still hope to see you over the next few months.
Gratefully,
Annette
Annette said it has been busier than ever since she first announced the business would close. “Everyone wants to come in for that last sandwich,” she said.
While the couple had considered selling, it now appears they will simply close.
Thanks for the past 40 years.
