January 31, 2022 – Hartford, WI – The City of Hartford Public Works Committee and City Engineer John Griffin recently discussed the 2022 projects being worked on by their department and Public Works.
The big three projects include the reconstruction of Harker Avenue and Harrison Street, along with the Centennial Park/Millpond Bulkhead wall.

Other notable projects include the construction of the side approaches to the new Millpond bridge and Millpond Dam concrete repairs when the water is drawn down.
This spring the City will also be contracting out for engineering design work for future projects including Union Street/N. Wilson Avenue reconstruction, S. Main Street reconstruction, W. Rossman Street reconstruction, E. Wisconsin Street reconstruction, and E. Loos Street reconstruction.
The actual reconstruction of these streets will take place in 2023 and 2024.
