July 10, 2017 – Fond du Lac, WI – Flight for Life flew a nine-year-old boy to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee after he crashed his dirt bike at the ATV park in Fond du Lac on Saturday afternoon.
Officials with the Fond du Lac Fire Department said the boy lost control of his bike and hit his head when he crashed.
He was wearing a helmet, but briefly lost consciousness.
An ambulance took him to the helicopter hangar and he was flown to Children’s Hospital with a possible head injury.
The accident at the park, 81 Warehouse Court, was reported at 1:12 p.m.
