Ronna Corliss Ron Naab

Dec. 13, 2016 – West Bend, WI – Ronna Corliss, executive director of the Washington Co. Heroin Task Force, recently received two checks from the Allenton American Legion Fohl-Martin Post 483 and its auxiliary to help with the printing of the Task Force Tool Kit Booklet.

“We are very appreciative of the veterans and those in the auxiliary for their dedication to help in the fight against the heroin epidemic in Washington County,” said volunteer Ron Naab.

Corliss added, “We appreciate everyone that has helped with donations of money or supplies for our parade participation and the upcoming Candlelight Vigils.”

On Thursday evening there will be a Candlelight Vigil to support those that have suffered the loss of a loved one and to remember those that have died from an addiction at Riverside Park in West Bend, starting at 6:30 p.m.

On Sunday, Dec. 18 a similar Candlelight Vigil will be held at the Richfield Fire Station No. 1 on Highway 175, starting at 5 p.m.  “We truly hope that those mourning the loss of a loved one and those that want to offer support will attend one if not both vigils,” said Naab.
