September 16, 2022 – Washington County, WI – The St. Peter Catholic School, 206 E Washington St, Slinger, WI, Home and School Picnic was a rain or shine event – in this case, it was rain with a chilly air temperature.
The event took place at the splash pad at Fireman’s Park, 645 Baehring Drive, Slinger.
Parents huddled in the warm park shelters as their children made their way between the good eats from an area food truck, the splash pad, and playground equipment.
The steady rain did not stop the high energy devoted by the kids to the already wet splash pad activity awaiting them.
Some parents joined in the activities or lent a hand at the playground.
The event was organized by the St. Peter Catholic School Home and School Committee.
