Cedarburg Police Department cuts lobby hours | By Cedarburg PD

April 29, 2022 – Cedarburg, WI – Effective May 1, 2022 the Cedarburg Police Department lobby will no longer be open 24 hours a day.

Due to recent resignations, the Cedarburg Police Department can no longer staff its Dispatch Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. From 11 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., all phone calls (emergency and non-emergency) will be answered by the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Department.

New lobby hours will be 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., 7 days a week.

There is a telephone in the lobby vestibule that will dial the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office if you need assistance.

When the phone receiver is picked up, it will automatically call the Sheriff’s Department and they will dispatch an officer as needed.

The Cedarburg PD anticipates there may be some bumps in the road as there is an adjustment to this new procedure, but we ask that you be patient as we work out any issues.

If you have any concerns, please direct them to administrative email: [email protected] and one of the administrative staff will investigate and reply to any concerns or issues.
