Clutch free throws seal the win for UWM at Washington County | By David Britton

Nov. 29, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – The Wildcats hosted the UWM at Waukesha County Cougars.  The Wildcats opened the game with an 11-2 run, led by the scoring of Miles Perkins.
As the Cougars clawed back the Wildcats hung on to a 3-point lead heading into halftime.
In the second half, UWM at Waukesha County used its strong play to take a 7-point lead with seven minutes to go.
However, the Wildcats used a 10-3 run to tie the game 66-66 with three minutes to go.
Deovante Trease, Dee, as his teammates call him, hit four clutch free throws down the stretch including two free throws with 5.4 seconds remaining to seal the victory.
The Wildcats also played strong defense the last three possessions of the game and held the Cougars scoreless.
The final score was 74-70 with UWM at Washington County coming out on top.
Deovante Trease (Dee) lead all scorers with 20 points and 4 steals. David Britton added another 17 points and 9 rebounds and Ross Waddell had an efficient 12 points on 5 for 9 shooting. Miles Perkins stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 8 blocked shots.
