November 6, 2021 – Richfield, WI – The Village of Richfield is a MS4 (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System) permitted community by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
One of the central functions MS4 communities are charged with is to better understand how our stormwater runoff impacts our community.
In Richfield, much of our stormwater is carried through our roadside ditches and swales.
Homeowners should keep private driveway culverts free of obstruction and be sure to clear all debris, such as leaves, from ditch lines to ensure they are functioning properly.
