It was brother testifying against brother during the ninth day of a Fond du Lac County homicide trial. Michael Brantner testified in his brother Dennis Brantner’s trial Thursday. He says he got a call from Dennis’s employer in March of 2014 saying Dennis hadn’t shown up for work. Michael Brantner says when he did reach Dennis by phone he found out he was in Iowa . Michael told Dennis to come on home. He said whatever it was Dennis did it could be straightened out, but that running wasn’t any good.
