May 21, 2026 – Cascade, Wi – Diane Lee Dyken (March 23, 1949 – May 6, 2026), born in Milwaukee to Howard Schleisner and Beulah Evans, passed away peacefully at home in Cascade, WI, with her devoted husband Dennis Dyken by her side.

She fought a long, hard battle with dementia but did so with a graceful presence. Of German and Native American descent, she was a proud member of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans.
Some of the early and fondly remembered times of her life were spent visiting the reservation in Bowler, WI with her mother’s side the Evans and a summer cottage her parents had on Long Lake in Dundee, WI.
She graduated from Marshall High School where she was a majorette. From Milwaukee to La Crosse she settled for many years in West Bend where she raised a family, and made a lot of friends. Her later years were spent in Cascade, WI where she worked hard, traveled and made many more friends.
Always known as a happy and fun-loving person she could be found laughing and dancing at local happenings.
Many people have said they will remember her laugh, which continued all the way through. She loved her family, friends, music, dancing, animals, sunshine, gardening, nature, and humanity. A beautiful, loving spirit that touched many.
Survived by her husband Dennis Dyken; sister Gail Lotz; her sons Jesse and Todd (by their father Gary Bingen); her grandchildren Christian Sybeldon, Caitlynn and Kiera Bingen; her Evans family cousins and many friends.
Please imagine a painting of a beautiful woman with her long black hair flowing in the wind, she is flying free now.
