August 10, 2018 – Dodge Co., WI – The Dodge County Sheriff’s have received reports that a large brown/tan van or suburban type vehicle is driving around and stopping at residences.
When it stops the vehicle horn is honked. This has been reported in the rural areas outside of Juneau and Beaver Dam.
It is possible this is being done as the vehicle cases properties to see if anyone is home prior to a burglary attempt.
We are actively investigating all leads and asking for help from the public. If anyone has any information or has witnessed this happening please call the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and report the information.
Please make sure your vehicles and house doors are locked when you are away.
