Local 4-H family thanks buyers & supporters at Washington County Fair | By Dornacker Family

August 3, 2023 – Washington County, WI – A big thanks to K and J Enterprises for purchasing my 135-pound lamb for $13.50/lb last week at the Washington County Fair Junior Livestock Auction. He was a blue-ribbon lamb, and I won the reserve champion intermediate showmanship class with him. I am 12 years old and a member of the Addison Achievers 4-H club.

Thank you goes to A to Z Quality Fencing for purchasing my reserve champion home bred and raised dairy and grand champion beef performance steer at the Washington County Junior Livestock Auction.

My steer weighed 1,340 pounds and sold for $6/lb.  I am 12 years old and a member of the Addison Achievers 4-H club.  I also really enjoyed talking to them when they interviewed me after the auction.

I appreciate your support of my 4-H beef project.

Thank you to Shumway Dental for purchasing my crossbred dairy steer weighing 1,430 pounds for $3.50/lb at the Washington County Junior Livestock Auction.  I am 10 years old and a member of the Addison Achievers 4-H club.  This was my first year showing beef and I really appreciate your support.

Big thanks to Badger State Waste for purchasing my reserve champion dairy cross steer and grand champion home bred & raised dairy steer this year at the Washington County Junior Livestock Auction.  My steer weighed 1,500 pounds and sold for $6 / lb.  I am 13 years old and a member of Slinger FFA.  I really appreciate your support of my FFA beef project.
