June 20, 2022 – Hartford, WI – Watch for Centennial Park in Hartford, WI to close August 1, 2022 as the long-awaited replacement of the North Mill Pond Wall gets underway.
Next week equipment and materials will move into Centennial Park followed by the draining of the Mill Pond.

While this work is underway, Centennial Park, along with the sidewalk, which is along the east end of the park, will be closed to all pedestrians.
The entire area will be dangerous to be around, and the public is advised to please stay clear of this area for the entire three months of the project.
Immediately following this project, crews will move to Rotary Park to start the dredging of that portion of the river, which will involve both sides of the riverbanks.
A pre-construction meeting was held recently with most City departments along with contractors and engineers represented.
